As far as I'm aware, only Steam and the Wii Virtual console allow it. PSN, XBLA and DS/3DS downloads cant be gifted afaik.

Yes. Please.
Re: Possibility for a Racketboy Forums Secret Santa?
I am all for a secret santa and would be more than willing to organize it. I can't see how it could possible interfere with the charity auction. People are capable of doing more than 1 thing at a time.
Buying a gift and mailing it isn't that difficult, and I don't see how participation in a secret santa is so mentally taxing that it would adversely effect the charity auction.
If the date is a serious issue, we must remember that Jesus had to wait until January 6th to get his presents. We could do the mailings after Dec. 25th.

so you don't see how bidding on auctions costs money? And that mailing the winning items costs money? And how during the holidays people already have plenty of other things to spend money on?saturnfan wrote:I am all for a secrete santa and would be more than willing to organize it. I'm just saying it could be accomplished with little to no controversy. People are making it out to be like it would be a monumental inconvenience, when it really isn't. Participation would also be optional. If said person felt they could not afford it, then guess what? They don't have to participate.noiseredux wrote:so you don't see how bidding on auctions costs money? And that mailing the winning items costs money? However, if nobody wants to do it, then so be it. I'm just speaking frankly on the matter.

Should SS happen, I'll be sure to donate approximately 500 copies of John Madden Football for the Genesis.
Everybody could use an extra copy or 3.
Plus it wont take away from the charity auction.

Older. Not wiser.
