So I finally beat Quellag. Then I went and got the gold trimmed robes which are totally bad ass. Then I went back to the Asylum and killed the Stray Demon and picked up all the loot I could find.

My question is this: Where do you guys recommend I go next?

I can go down to the New Londo Ruins. Make my way in Sens Fortress. Or go through the graveyard behind Firelink Shrine (I have no idea what's back there honestly).

Also, I grabbed the stuff from the undead dragon in the valley of drakes. I actually escaped with my life too. But I'm wondering, does he go back to sleep if you leave the area? Cause I don't think I want to risk running past him just to see what I can find.

You don't want to do the graveyard, as that leads to the Catacombs and eventually to an area that is locked off for now. I'd recommend you do Sen's Fortress. After Sen's you go to Anor Londo. At the completion of Anor Londo you can head out to several other areas (such as the aformentioned locked area past the Catacombs). Technically you can do New Londo Ruins now, but it'll be a pain (you're on the low leveled side) and there isn't a lot of benefit to doing it now. There is a covenant you can join after doing New Londo, but you can only join it after finishing Anor Londo.

No idea. I just used a bow; he can't move from that location so you can just snipe and laugh.

OK, that's what I figured. I should remember to drop my current covenant first though I think. Don't want to get any sin since it's apparently the most stupidly expensive thing in the world to fix.

Beat Sen's Fortress. It was so easy. Like, stupidly easy. I don't understand what the hype was about. Anor Londo wasn't so easy. After about an hour I was able to find these two phantoms from the sun covenant that went around practically one-shotting everything for me. And then Ornstein was able to kill one of em, but not before we had killed Smough and brought Ornstein to almost dead health.

Now, this Lordvessel thing. I heard I have to give it to Frampt, but will that make me not be able to warp anymore?

And I plan on doing The Painted World next, but where should I go after that?

No, you will be able to warp still. Be careful with who you give it to though, there is another Primordial Serpent (Kaathe) in the Abyss that you can side with, and it will give you access to the Darkwraith covenant as well as providing you with a LOT of story information. Giving it to Frampt will give you no story information, but will enable you to brake down weapon upgrade materials and sell weapons/armor.

You have to beat Sif before you can meet Kaathe/get to the Abyss though, have you done that?

Keep in mind that whoever you chose to side with, you will be able to warp just the same, and it won't affect your ending at all. You will still be able to jump down the hole in Firelink Shrine to get to Kiln even if you side with Kaathe.

I have not beaten Sif yet. Ya think I should go there next?

And I definitely do not want to join Darkwraith, I know that. But can Kaathe not be fed things for souls like Frampt? Because the extra story info sounds really nice, but I'm not sure I'm willing to give up the free souls from feeding my extra/junk items to Frampt.

The souls you get are piddly. The coins give the best, and even they are on the order of 1000 souls max. And breaking down stones usually isn't necessary, as by the time you're rolling in high level stones you can farm the souls to purchase the low level stones in a few minutes.

Yeah, you may as well. That boss fight is freaking amazing by the way, my favorite of the game.

Kaathe can't be fed stones, but like MrPopo said that feature is pretty useless. I've yet to use it and I'm never hurting for souls or stones. Leveling up with the Darkwraith covenant gives you sweet weapons and gear, much cooler benefits than Frampt offers.

actually i would recommend you go into the the Painted World of Ariamis. you can get there from anro londo from the giant painting in the room where you droped the chandler. it's fairly easy (and if you into soul farming there is some phalanx that work well for some exelent farming). you actually don't need to kill the boss in there as she asks you to leave...but she's incredibly easy..and you can get a special weapon if you cut her tail off. there is also a huge slew of goodies in there too and another undead dragon. only thing is once your in, you can't get out untill you finish it.

Edit: one little detail i forgot to say, you need to have the item called strange doll, which is located in the undead asylum in your old cell.

OK, quick question.

I'm making a DEX focused melee build that dabbles in pyromancy. Currently I'm using Quelaag's Furysword +5 and it works wonders. I also supplement it with a lightning spear +2 for times when I need to keep my shield up or where hitting the walls would make my Furysword almost useless. Here's the problem though: The Furysword only scales with DEX with a B rank. It's decent, but I get the feeling that by NG+ it'll become kinda underpowered. Am I wrong, or should I start planning for a main weapons switch?

I noticed on the wiki that it would seem you can't upgrade regular weapons down a DEX or STR focused path like you could in Demon's Souls (With the sharpstones and such). And to boot, according to the wiki, only 3 weapons have an A rank scaling for that stat. One is a great hammer, one is a dagger, and the other is a curved sword that seems to have a REALLY low base damage compared to the Furysword.

Any suggestions appreciated.
