This makes my day. Only big one left is Ratchet & Clank now. Definitely buying day 1. I'd love to re-experience Jak 2 at 60 FPS.

Sarcasm aside, some of those collections are kinda worth it.

Metal Gear HD- A nice package. Metal Gear deserves to be played in HD.

Silent Hill HD- It's too cost prohibitive to play the PC versions for people on a budget; especially for people with computers not meant to run hi-res games

...But Jak and Daxter HD? Is it really worth it?
I'm not a fan of the games, I admit that, but I'd definitely have to see A) the price and B) the included content.

Of course, this is nothing more than an announcement. I really hope for the sake of the fans of the series that they get some bang for their buck.

It would be nice to have some extra content, but I'm not expecting it, and I'll honestly be happy either way.

I'm for it if it means that it gets exposure and they end up making another, but I seriously doubt it with the run they've been having on Uncharted.

See, I kind of like these things when it gives a certain series more exposure(Sly Cooper) or gives those of us in the US stuff we never got before like how the Ico collection gave us the European only extras and the original cover art

Oh well, whatever. I don't really like the Jak and Daxter series, or pretty much anything Naughty Dog makes these days. I view them as one of the most overrated developers in the industry. However, if this collection does well and leads to the Ratchet and Clank PS 2 games getting remakes, that's good news to me. So I guess I'll give this news a thumbs up I guess.

At this rate though, we really will see just about every damn PS 2 game get a remake. That is a bit crazy and does reak of people just cashing in. I certainly won't be buying them all, just the special ones. Like the Ico/SOTC Collection, I think that one is worth supporting

Same! I would be agreeing with swiftzx up there, but I've never played a single game in my life, and I've only heard good things about the series. So I will be picking it up if I have a chance to get around to it.
