Walt is absolutely not trying to leave the business. It gives him a sense of power he didn't ever have before.

Hahahaha, that was so fucking funny. It combines two of my favorite things: Breaking Bad and video games!

A full two years after seeing them, half measure and full measure are still two of the most suspenseful and shocking tv episodes ever.

I've just been reading the last few pages of this thread, and kingmohd84 really needs to re-rewatch the show. He's missing A LOT of what's going on in the story

I watched the whole series recently and I'm hooked. I can't wait for season 5. I'm very invested in Jesse's story at this point and seeing where it goes in season 5. I think he has evolved more as a character than Walt

Awesome show! Not the best show on TV though or the best TV show of all time, which I bring up because people CONSTANTLY say that about Breaking Bad and The Wire. Here's the thing though, no show can ever be the best TV show of all time. No show can be everything to everyone. As good as BB is, it's not the show I go to if I want some Sci Fi, some comedy, some spy action, some medieval fantasy, some supernatural stuff, etc, etc. I rank it among my fave shows of all time though, but if you ask me what's the best supernatural show I've seen, I'm still going to say Buffy or Angel. If you ask me what is the best spy show I've seen I'm still going to say Nikita. If you ask me what is the best medieval fantasy show I've seen, I'll say Game of Thrones. If you ask me what is the best Sci Fi show I've seen, I'd say Doctor Who just through sheer longevity and the fact that that show has pretty much done everything there is to do in a Sci Fi show. If you ask me what is the most realistic cop show I've seen, I'd probably then say The Wire based on the six episodes I've seen so far.

This whole best of all time thing is so silly really. It's too vague a statement unless you attach a genre to it. I bring it up because with the shows I've been watching lately (Mad Men, Breaking Bad, The Wire), people constantly bring up this best of all time thing when talking about them.

Well, when I say best, which is obviously subjective, I mean best to me. If I had to pick one show to watch, out of every genre, itd be breaking bad.

Good point. I don't think I ever classified a show as best of all time but probably the closest I've come would be "Seinfeld" which was truly a great comedy. I still enjoy it from time to time when I do channel flipping.

I never cared for sci fi shows and don't see the appeal of Dr Who. I remember in school that there were were a few Dr Who fans and I thought they were wackos/nut jobs. So what is the appeal of that show?
