Convert Dreamcast .bin to .cdi
Convert Dreamcast .bin to .cdi
This seems to be a common problem, I have a Dreamcast game in the form of a .bin and .cue executable, but nullDC wants a .cdi image to play the game. Is there any simple tool to convert from one to the other. Numerous searches of Google have come up with nothing that I can understand. So maybe a guide or someting similar?

bin games are not self boot, so it can't be played in am emu.
you will need to make it a selfbooting image.

My B/S/T list
I also rent and sell PS2, Wii and XBOX softmod-kits and I collect DVD movies let me know what you have.
The bin2boot program worked a treat, thanks. That complete collection for sale on eBay has inspired me to collect as many DC cdis as I can. Most work perfectly on nullDC. I'm amazed everytime they boot, Dreamcast still seems futuristic to me.

Bin2boot wont always work. For me, it hardly ever did. When it doesn't you can rely on other 1 click solutions, or you can learn to manually selfboot your games, which entails burning the 2 sessions separately and entering some commands in a command prompt, provided you have the toolset.andymol21 wrote:The bin2boot program worked a treat, thanks.
