It's weird, I see kids these days with the same amount of nostalgia for those two as the likes of us who grew up with them during the days of the MD and the SNES.
I work at an elementary school, you should see how many kids walk around Sonic and Mario t-shirts and lunch boxes.

I've seen those t-shirts. You know, the first couple of times I saw them in the stores I walked around out of curiosity to see what the other departments had. Only the boys/young mens carry the Sonic shirts. I've seen plenty of Nintendo related shirts in the girls departments, but no Sonic. Seems girls aren't supposed to like Sonic
