Hmm, this wasn't a problem for me. I actually considered JSRF a much easier game all around than JGR. The whole thing is much more stream-lined(some might say dumbed down)than JGR. I like JGR better though, some of the changes in JSRF weren't necessary and seemed to dilute the essence of the original just a bit. Plus, I think I liked the soundtrack of JGR better, but I consider both games must play material(though I don't get why they changed the leader of the gang in JSRF). I have to give props to JSRF for having a cooler intro than JGR. That "understand the concept of love" song is hard to get out of your head. Plus, JGR could be frustrating at times, which was not an issue I ever had with JSRF.Randy_Marsh wrote:the levels in JGR are more streamlined and fun. the levels in JSRF are more convoluted and confusing. i felt like a mouse in a maze most of the latter part of JSRF.
in conclusion, it's a decent game, but
JGR > JSRF
Both games rock, but JGR for the win
I used to play Concept of Love on Winamp all the time back when I first heard it -- quite addicting.
Now I've heard it too much

Yeah. I haven't even gotten my hands on a copy yet and I feel I've already heard it too much. Every video on youtube pretty much uses the song and now I can't get it out of my head.racketboy wrote:I used to play Concept of Love on Winamp all the time back when I first heard it -- quite addicting.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.
Right yeah.
D.D.D You wanted to know how JSRF played on 360 compared to xbox.
Graphically it's exactly the same. One thing I did notice was that there was quite a bit more slowdown in Shibuya when there's lots and lots of people around. It's not game killing slowdown. Just more noticeable than it was on xbox.

Good choice. The majority of good games are compatible now.D.D.D. wrote:Sounds good~ Thanks for checking that out.Niode wrote:Right yeah.

BTW are 360s still dirt cheap in Japan?

For the most part yeah, especially used but I wouldn't go down that road with a 360 and their legendary reliability.Niode wrote:Good choice. The majority of good games are compatible now.D.D.D. wrote:Sounds good~ Thanks for checking that out.Niode wrote:Right yeah.

The only thing is that all the good games come out in the states or EU first and according to the compatability lists, a lot of them don't work on the JP 360 or just haven't been tested. I'll get a US version whenever I get one.
