How the hell do you people sleep at night?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

No, fuck high fiving. Someone needs to start a nation-wide wave of stink-palming and put an end to this crap.

Not to be disrespectful, but if you "don't really want [advice]", then why post it on here in the first place??? If you don't like compassion or generosity from others, then just say STFU and everyone will get the message. I guess I am probably one of those people that you don't know that creeped you out. My apology. I will refrain from commenting on your personal post next time. One advice though, do try take everything on here with a grain of salt as someone has told me.

...What's wrong with shaking hands? It's an accepted mode of greeting.

I didn't ask for advice when I made the thread. I just wanted to hear how other people go about sleeping. It's a genuine question. Everyone has their methods. It's nothing more than a thread idea. But then people kept telling me specifically to try this and that, and I had to individually respond to all the advice.

I am pretty sure people here were just trying to be friendly with the suggestions that they gave you. It's just human nature for people to try to help when they think that a person is in trouble. I know it is not an excuse but that's what I was trying to do. Nevertheless, what I don't understand is why you feel the need to respond to "ALL" advices when they bother you so much??? I don't think it would be rude of you if you had chosen to ignore those comments, as well as this one right here.

Anyway, I promise this shall be my last comment on this topic regardless of your response. Let's end it here. It was my mistake for assuming that you wanted some advices for your insomnia. Now I realized that you just wanted to hear about other people's experiences. Why didn't you just say that after the first or second advice and knip it in the bud??? Why wait until 8 pages later and get all bent out of shape because of it??? Life is complicated but not everything has to be. :) Best wishes man.

Yeah except that people don't wash their hands, or they've got sweaty palms, or just recently scratched their whatchamacallit and then they want to shake hands with you... That's what's wrong with shaking hands. It's just unsanitary.
If someone goes to shake my hand, and I must, I do a finger slap and then a fist-bump. Minimal contact while still performing a greeting and they just do it because they think that's how the people greet where I'm from and they're not offended that I turned down their handshake greeting because I just don't wanna touch their potential gross hand~ It works well enough. Oi vay~

Who cares if it's 'unsanitary'? You need to give your immune system some work. Simple human contact is not going to give you the super-AIDS.

I just don't sleep. Ever.

But really, I have trouble sleeping like most of you. When I need to sleep, I just stay off the video games and computer and read some magazines. That usually clears my head.
