I am curious, anyone try the SKU in their region yet? :? :?:

Gamecube Component Cable Gamestop SKU: 900572
I searched online by your link - closest for me is 70 miles away. For our RBers in North Jersey you have FOUR within a handful of miles. LETS MAKE A DEAL!

Keep these deals coming CRT 8)
Arent' they selling for around $75? Someone go snap em' up and put em' at $50???? A nice gesture for the community and a quick little profit too...
Be sure to try the SKU at your local gamestop and ask the employee to printout the District.

Had a few people adamantly insist that I was wrong and that they didn't exist...yeesh.

Another had a mislabeled composite third party cable...

A few of them even told me there were a lot of calls for that particular item.

What can I even do since they're all far away? Most of them don't want to bother with transferring to other stores due to the price of the item.

The Digital port
The Gamecube Component cable was never available for retail in the U.S. When the Gamecube was new, the GC Component Cable could only be purchased direct from Nintendo or as an import. Note that only the Nintendo Brand Component Cable is the only one that will give true Component from the Gamecube digital output port.

The Gamestop SKU
Most of the time the wrong item inside. Either will be a Wii Component cable or a Gamecube SVideo cable. A rare circumstance to find one with the Elusive Nintendo Brand Gamecube Component cable. Worth the search, you never know if luck will shine your way.

All true. Knew someone at a GameStop who pulled it off the shelves when they saw it. I asked them if they updated their store's online registry because the stores in the New England area that had them listed as "available" couldn't seem to find them. (Well, two of them did after a bit of pestering. But, yeah.)

I had a print-out of 10 locations that supposedly had them in stock, but all of 'em turned out to be false leads. I just want to say that every stereotype about GameStop and their employees is pretty accurate - all but maybe two employees were helpful, the rest can remove the sticks from their asses. I was even turned away and told to come back on Thursday because of the Modern Warfare kids...I waited my turn in line with maybe six other people, and they didn't want to bother helping me out.

But hey, if anyone can find 'em and won't mind selling to me or other RB members, I'm sure we'd all be quite grateful. :)

I checked on the cables when the suggestion was originally posted and there were two in town. One fairly close to me, the other too far down south for me to bother.

I did go to the store close to me that supposedly had one in stock, but after some searching it turned out to be what looked like a third party Wii component cable. Too bad.

I had tried one a bit away from me on Saturday that online listed one, but after the guy dug in the drawer he pulled out a regular composite cable.
