Domingo is a (flying) masterpiece - at least for me. That guy can really soak up damage.
I'm still having issues with my promoted dudes though. Everyone seems to gain a single HP on level up except Narsha, who is also stuck on gaining just Magic Res %. I don't understand this...
By the way, promoted Zuika at low HP can really dish out damage (and becomes ranged attacker somehow).
Ivo.

just an observation: I can't believe this wasn't included on the PSP Sega Genesis Collection. Maybe it's just me, but I find SRPG's and other tactical games completely conducive of handheld gaming.

Yup, Domingo is purely awesome.Ivo wrote:Domingo is a (flying) masterpiece - at least for me. That guy can really soak up damage.

I don't know who Narsha and Zuika are. I would guess some of the character names are different in whatever version you are using.

I'm playing it on PSP, but via an emulator. Screw the collection. I own the PS3 collection. I own the Genesis cart. I own the JP MD cart. I feel fine playing it on the PSP via an emulator and rom.noiseredux wrote:just an observation: I can't believe this wasn't included on the PSP Sega Genesis Collection. Re: Together Retro: Shining Force
I considered doing the same, but owning two good console ports seemed like a waste. Though now that I'm into it, I would've played it emulated on PSP, but I'm already far enough I don't want to start over.Breetai wrote:I'm playing it on PSP, but via an emulator. Starting a little late, but better late than never!
I'm at the second town now, and after the first few fights, I was thinking, "How have I never played this before!"
I went ahead and got the 2nd one as well

And as the second comment I said the samething thats why when I first posted I was labeling it as an All Time Fav,most people may feel the same if givin a try.
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.

This definitely seems like a game I could play again and again, especially if there are missable characters.
I think this game does it just right. Most srpgs just can't hold my attention nowadays.
