Pocket Simon - $2.00 Thrift Store
Oh why not, a good price, another one to add to the Portable Games Collection.

Gamecube BMX XXX - $2.99 Gamestop
http://www.gamestop.com/gc/games/bmx-xxx/22579
After reading about this game here from Hazerd's post, I finally found a near complete game including manual, and the warranty card. Its only missing an ad insert. I'm not big on Sports Games let alone tacky nudy ones. The game is not that good, bought because of the controversy. The PS2 version got censored, this slipped under the radar when San Andreas Coffee mod got so much scrutiny.

A hidden reversible cover insert
The cover insert can be reversed for a hidden photo. The game refused to load with a Component hookup, I had to use Composite to initially load BMX XXX. After a save file was created, Component now works. :?

GBA Virtua Tennis - $2.99 Gamestop

Love the game on the Dreamcast, the GBA version though not as purty not too bad.

DVD Cube Preview and Basic Instinct - $4.50 Thrift Store
Two unusual DVD releases, because of the features. I already have all three Cube movies, now have a publisher screener of the first one. I'll have to compare what has been cut or added from the final release. As for Basic Instinct, an okay murder movie. I got it because it actually has the Ice Pick Pen, normally missing from the tinted blue case when sold used. The ink in the Ice Pick is red.

The brochures under the disc are circular just like the tin can release of Total Recall

Just Picked up a copy of Duck tales 2!

Pretty excited about that. a buddy of mine found it at a garage sale for 25 cents. Its just the loose cart but with a nice clean label. I got it for doing a 72 pin swap for him and cleaning out his SNES. So total cost to me is about 8.00 for the new pin!!

This is the first buy I've made in a while for my presonal collection. Pretty good one.

I'll give you two 72 pin swaps for it. That's pretty awesome.

He finds all kind of good stuff and let's me get first crack at it. Going over there to pick through his current crop of stuff before it hits eBay. He's got a bunch of vintage gaming stuff hes picked up this summer.

If it was purchased before the price drop it is eligible for 10 free nes downloads and 10 free Ghana downloads. The games are pre determined bit for free you can't complain.
GBA not Ghana lol.
My phone had auto-corrected to that and didnt catch it till after I submitted!

In other news, found a saturn 3d controller for 2.99. And something I totally forgot existed, saw Duke Nukem for the Tapwave Zodiac at Goodwill! Never seen the system in person, but the game cart looked just like an SD card.

Popped in a charity shop in the village I live in whilst out to buy the daily newspaper, was browsing thier DVD PC games selection shelf and felt disapointed there was no video games :(
I then noticed a line of PS1 games sitting on a shelf in a different part of the shop :)
Out of about 20 games I picked up 8 priced at 99p each 8)
Image
G-Police complete
RE3 missing manual
Alundra complete with map, hints tips and cheats guide
FE2 missing manual and "EB" written on discs and rear insert
Tenchu complete
Crash complete with autumn/winter releases demo disc
FFVI complete with FFX demo disc
Parisite Eve 2 missing manual "P" written on discs and rear insert

Apart from knowing that the FF series can be worth a little i've no idea on the rest, but for 99p each I don't think I can go wrong really.
