LOL, there's still a lot going on. There's going to be 16 more episodes.kingmohd84 wrote:Is there a season 5?
The story seems complete and over for me...
If there is a season 5 i think it will be in the future, something like 10 years later Guss had a son and he is coming for revenge. I dunno, I really see this story is over or season 5 could be just more detail on what happened later with the car wash, the bald guy left in mexico to be treated, his relationship with his brother in law. I cant think of other possibilities.
Breaking Bad Season 3 Starts Tonight

Yup, there will be a slightly extended season 6, and that will be the last season. And there IS still a lot going on. We all seemed to agree that if the series ended with season 5, it wouldn't have been a bad way to end the show. From the interviews I've read, I think they did it this way because a 6th season wasn't definite yet. So they wanted to end season 5 in a way that it could possibly end the show. But now we know for sure there will be a season 6, and there's still quite a few things that can be explored.
Re: Breaking Bad Season 3 Starts Tonight
wats there left to discuss unless they start a new plot
Re: Breaking Bad Season 3 Starts Tonight
Uh... Walt actually becoming a badass drug dealer that he was supposed to since the first episode?
The series is actually about the transition of the mild-mannered, moderate, high-school teacher Walt to the fierce, strong, self-confident drug dealer Walt. We have just now started to see how he's going to end up after all that's happened.

There's definitely a few loose ends to explore. There's still Hank possibly finding out about Walt and whatnot. Mike hasn't been seen since Mexico, and Gilligan said he'd definitely be coming back. There was a hint toward Gus' past, there might be something there. We still don't know if Ted is dead or just seriously injured. There's a few things that would be disastrous if Jessy found out, like Walt's part in Jessy's girlfriend's death, and the Lily of the Valley incident. Skyler's character definitely evolved a LOT, it will be interesting to see what her character does. And then there's Walt, who might make it to a King Pin position. Or maybe he'll die! And the big question about Walt right now is the state of his cancer. He's been coughing more frequently during the last episodes of last season.
Might be a few other details that we discussed, but I think I hit the more major ones.

There is, but they did design the S4 finale to work as a series finale in the case they didn't get renewed. They didn't get the S5 renewal until like a couple weeks before the finale aired.kingmohd84 wrote:Is there a season 5?

I see now

I think Walt becoming king pin is stretching the story. it seemed to me that the story is was "High school teacher fed up off life and wants money, turns into a drug dealer to make money for his family before his death, clearly the path he took is dangerous and wrong and he wants out, and he did find a way out. Back to living his regular life"
I dont recall Walt killing Jessy's GF, I thought she was dying and he did a "mercy kill" on her. I can be wrong, did he assassinate her?

Turning "Mr Chips into Scarface" was the show's creator's original plan.kingmohd84 wrote: I think Walt becoming king pin is stretching the story. it seemed to me that the story is was "High school teacher fed up off life and wants money, turns into a drug dealer to make money for his family before his death, clearly the path he took is dangerous and wrong and he wants out, and he did find a way out. Jessy and her were lying on their sides together, sleeping off the heroin. Walt broke into the apartment because he needed Jessy. He pushed the girl off of Jessy when he was trying to wake him, so she ended up on her back. He was trying to wake Jessy, and she started vomiting. He decided to do nothing and let her choke to death. He didn't kill her directly, but it's pretty much his fault. Heroin addicts sleep on their sides for a reason, so they don't choke on their vomit. Walt pushed her onto her back, and decided to let her die.kingmohd84 wrote:I dont recall Walt killing Jessy's GF, I thought she was dying and he did a "mercy kill" on her. Re: Breaking Bad Season 3 Starts Tonight
If that was the creators original plan I guess he failed because what I understood was that he got into the drug business and now he wants out as soon as he could. He was not exactly fighting against Gus to take over, he was cooking to get the money and leave, he avoided Gus until it was face him or die moment.
Re: Breaking Bad Season 3 Starts Tonight
It's not about the journey, it's about the end result. In the first episode, did Walt wanna become a king pin drug lord? No, he just wanted to make money. But some times shit happens.
