Good afternoon.

I have been coming to this site for a over a year now, and am making a forum account now. I originally made it to advertise my eBay video game store in the auctions thread, but going through, I will be actively participating in a lot of these threads.

This acct is me and my brother, we started a video game eBay store a good while ago to basically make back some money on these lots we buy to get the games we need for our collections easier and a little cheaper. It turned into a full blown addiction for us, and now that we have most of what we need/want, we just continued the store.

We both love video games, old and new. We basically do something video game related every single day of our lives lol.

So just popping in the new members thread to say hey, and that I really enjoy this site, and what it has to offer. You will be seeing us around much more! We have a lot to say!!!!

Oh, about me, my names Garrett, I'm from the good ol' midwestern United States. I will be 22 here in a few weeks. I am a huge metal head, primarily death and black metal. Extreme metal if you will. I play guitar very avidly. I am well versed in music theory as well as a percussionist. I was in a nationally recognized percussion ensemble in high school. Since I've graduated high school, I've done nothing but work crappy dead end jobs. I can't say I hate it, but its not fun all the time. I work in a surgery center cafe making very decent money and work with some pretty great people. I do plan on going to school this coming semester for Audio Engineering(hopefully video game related, but am leaning more toward full band recording and mixing for school). Uhhhhh I enjoy rollin on the ganj in my spare time. It enhances my video game playing haha. Other then that I'm a video game nerd and I love it.

Thanks.

Hey everyone! I came on-board a month ago, but wanted to finally introduce myself! Been gaming since '87 and live for retro. Just 2 months ago I launched http://www.thehookshot.com as a way to get my passion out there. I work full time as a multi-media designer and do a combination of graphic design, animation, videography and programming as a contractor.

My hope is that The Hookshot will take off over the next year and give me something to enjoy on the side. Maybe if I'm lucky I can start working on that more full time than as just a side project. One can hope anyways :P

Glad to be here!

Hey, that's a great-looking site you have there! I only glanced at it for the moment, but already your demonstration of "RETRO - NOT RETRO" made me laugh. I'll definitely be exploring it in more depth later.

Welcome!

Thanks Key-Glyph! Take a look at some of the articles/videos and let me know what you think. I'm definitely looking for feedback!

My name's Dave. I'm 28 years old and live in rural Maine. I've lurked here for a couple of years.

I've been playing video games since I was about 4 or 5, but only began collecting about a year and a half ago. I took a long break from gaming (about 5 years) starting in 2001, so now I'm playing catch-up with the sixth generation as well as collecting great games I could never afford as a kid. My favorite genre by far is the JRPG and the SNES is my preferred console. I do enjoy games from all genres and systems, however.

I'm a huge music nerd and I tend to gravitate towards the underground shit, especially black metal, doom metal, and DIY hardcore and crust/grind. I enjoy anime and maga, but I only got into it a couple of years ago and have really only explored the classics (Sailor Moon, Evangelion, etc). I'm also really into long-distance running and I'm a political activist with a love for radical politics. I could write so much more, but it would get boring fast! Peace.

Yo! I'm Jesse, I love wrestling, and games, and pizza, and vernors, and booze, and music, and comics, and rap, and boobs, and animals, and ekans, and final fantasy 7, and the ninja turtles, and rambo, and Tarzan Boy, and Hawaiian shirts, and leather jackets, and cartoons, and wolverine, and that's basically everything anyone needs to know about me.

I make music, and game reviews, and funny stuff, all of which can be found in the links on my sig. I'd like to make a living off all that stuff someday, so why not support a broski and check it out?

this seems like a cool forum, so.. um.. hi. pleased to... meet you?

Welcome! I keep think you're related to BoringSupreez, another forum member. Did anyone else come up with the same thought?
