It wouldn't surprise me if that's what the reviewer's problem was, that they had gotten a newer non CRT TV and didn't know they wouldn't work. You're gonna be SOL though unless there's an oXBOX gun that uses a sensor bar.

Hey guys, I recently went back to this and have been considering trying to find a light gun I can use on my LCD tv for my modded XB and came across this on ebay:

Does anyone know if this seem like it might work? It seems like it has potential? :?
I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!

Well, it says is has emitters and a receiver, so it works like the Wii Nunchucks. Says it work with Guncon 2 games, so as long as the hand jive it does to fool the game into thinking it is getting position data properly...
