Congrats - that is one of the sitdowns I have always wanted.

Smile: Four new tires on my truck, just in time for winter.

Ticked: Every time i've gone to Discount Tire, which is only every two or three years going back to the mid 90's, there is always some old guy giving a CSR a hard time about the price and/or availability of something. I go so rarely it must happen every day. This grandpa yesterday raised a ruckus over the cost of one tire, and held up the line ten minutes to haggle twenty eight fucking cents off his bill.

^ There was an old lady in front of me at the store yesterday who paid in pennies.... and the older generations wonder why they tick off the younger generations  (Yes, I know they're not all like that, but it only takes one person to ruin your day and since I live in Florida the odds are against the older folks)

Smile: Got a copy of Power Blade (NES) today :D
Ticked: It's got a dent in the front :(

The problem with getting angry about a situation like that is if you find out later that they are paying in pennies because that's all they have your righteous fury can vanish real quick. Happened to me once.

Smile: Solidified plans to go see my best friend in a couple weeks.

Frown: Feeling particularly neurotic lately.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

:) : Good stuff from the thrift store today.

:x : My Nintendo repair experience. I sent in my DSi XL for a camera repair since it was still in warranty. Got it back, and the cameras work all right. But now the left speaker makes crackly noises on the two highest volume settings, which it didn't before I sent it in. Also, the repair people didn't bother to clean the system or anything extra like that. In fact, they smudged up the screens. In comparison, when I had my 360 repaired, not only did they clean it, they gave me a new power brick and a new hard drive slot cover.
