And anyone else find it funny how easily the Big Show beat Del Rio, but it really doesn't matter because the belts are hardly on the line thesedays?

Santino's a riot, lol, cracks me up that his character has this big, epic operatic entrance theme.

An' I wholeheartedly agree with CM Punk needing a better heel to play off of. Del Rio's heat is mild at best... weak sauce!

Breaking News: Santino suspended due to a violation of the WWE's Wellness Program during the live taping of Monday Night Raw.

..of course, I can totally see the WWE doing this for real.

I agree with you guys about Del Rio, HE is making CM Punk not look so great. I think someone like Ziggler has potential to go further, if he got away from Vickie and did his own thing it'd probably be awesome. Del Rio just doesn't cut it, I don't think anyone cares about him and he shouldn't be in the position he's in.

Del Rio seems so unnatural to me. He has no genuine personality. He delivers by the book heel promos without any creativity or edge. He seems to think he has a great gimmick, but it's one we've seen so many times already. Take away the fancy cars, the scarf, the ring announcer and all that window dressing and you have a pretty generic, run of the mill midcard heel. He's good in the ring, but that's all he's got going for him. Dolph Ziggler is leagues better than he is. Check out his awesome stuff on Zak Ryder's youtube show:

Or this one, just go to the 2:53 point in the video

In other news, Evan Bourne has been suspended for a wellness violation

WWE can't book champions anymore. CM Punk is number one contender despite losing all his big matches recently and Del Rio has been made to job clean to Big Show and John Cena and everytime he does win it is tainted in a way that makes him look weak. WWE Survivor Series 2011: Clash of the Losers.

The WWE played it too safe for the decade and had Cena at the top for too long. Now it's biting them in the ass. They have nobody else to go to. Punk is fine but feuding with Del Rio is a complete waste.

Some of my friends and I still think the overstocked belts issue is a big factor here as well. There are too many belts that put wrestlers in groups and limit the potential for bigger feuds or a broader selection of wrestlers to go for a single belt... I really think all they need is the tag team belts, IC, and the World title. That's it. With all the belts thesedays and the World title getting thrown back on Cena all too easily over the years it's just taken away the merit and weight behind the belts. Not to mention I keep hearing the tag team division hasn't been much over the years (and I can see that myself), well hey if they eliminated more belts, it'd open up the doors to more possible tag teams and such.

This stuff should be so damn easy to fix. At least they've barely salvaged the Triple H vs The Roster issue, and have him feuding with Nash again it seems... so it's not all that important. Triple H really needs to take the backseat here. Burying the roster like he was for awhile there was just pathetic.

Those are great points, but sometimes I actually feel the opposite. I wish there were more titles. I really just wish that the WWE had a bunch of belts that represented distinct styles of wrestling and really push the idea that whoever holds those belts is the best at that kind of wrestling. Remember when we had the hardcore title and it represented that style of wrestling? Remember how the cruiser weight division was focused on fast, high flying in ring action like TNA's X division?.

Imagine if the WWE had belts for every style of wrestling, like a submission match belt for example(perfect for Daniel Bryan), a lucha libre belt(for your Sin Caras and Mysterios), a hardcore belt(for crazy daredevils like Evan Bourne and Morrison), a women's title(to be worn by credible ladies like Natalia, Beth Phoenix or a returning Karma), the tag titles(so you'd have something for all these guys who are under contract doing nothing and it would get lots of guys over who can't get over on their own), a women's tag title(so you could do something useful with those Bella Bimbos), the IC title(to elevate your next World champ) and the World title.

Imagine if they pushed all of those belts as being just as important and meaningful as the World title. What if they pushed tag wrestling again in a way that it seemed like you can't just throw any two guys together and have them be successful because tag team wrestling is a whole different approach to matches. I kind of hate it when they throw two main eventers together and have them win the tag titles. I don't like that kind of booking. A main eventer who is used to singles matches should get his ass handed to him in a tag match against whoever the tag champs are.

Every belt should mean that you are the best at this style of wrestling, which would actually make every belt have equal importance. Sometimes I question whether or not the World title should always be made to represent this idea that whoever holds that title is better than every single other person in the company. What if it's only purpose was to show that you are the best at singles, traditional wrestling matches? What if everyone tuned in to see their fave champ or their favorite division and it wasn't all about the World title all the time? and you could have your Intercontinental title and just have it represent the guy is knocking on the door of the World champ and then just ditch the Money in the Bank concept as well as the number one contender idea. They should have the IC champ automatically be number one contendor for the World title. You want a match for the World title? Beat the IC champ.

I think if I had a wrestling company, that would be my approach. I wouldn't build the whole show completely around the World title like the WWE likes to do
