They dedicated a dvd release for that?! Wow. How much is it and is it worth owning?Xeogred wrote:You guys check out the new Bret & Shawn DVD? One of the greatest things I've ever seen. The two hour sit down interview with them was incredible.

Re: The Wrestling Thread
I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!

I think it's on Netflix available to stream. I'm not 100% sure though.Evildeadmanwalking77 wrote:They dedicated a dvd release for that?! Wow. Re: The Wrestling Thread
Aside from the huge interview it has...
Disc 2 has the Iron Man match, Bret's Hall of Fame induction, Bret and Shawn meeting at Raw in the ring in 2009-2010 or whenever that was , Shawn's induction, Bret in the wheelchair getting kicked segment, the Montreal match, and some other weird stuff from the interview that doesn't seem too noteworthy (just like 12 minutes of stuff or something).
My friend said Disc 3 has this:
It starts out with two promos before their Survivor Series 1992 match where only Bret's world title was on the line. It has two Rocker vs Hart Foundation tag matches and then the first ever ladder match between them for the IC title.

Totally forgot. Although, thanks to YouTube, I was re-introduced to someone... from the COSMOS... JAY. ROSS.vlame wrote:Remember anything about this guy? Lucha? Dammit, still can't remember that WCW guy. He appeared all of once or twice and then became a CPA.

Re: The Wrestling Thread
Watched the greatest rivalries featuring Shawn and Bret; loved every minute of it. Seeing a lot of those clips brought back memories I had long forgotten. Few would argue that those two men were the greatest the industry ever hosted.
For the first time since I can't even remember, I was thoroughly entertained with RAW tonight! I was surprised with how much life the Muppets brought to the show (muppets, life, irony right? lol)!
The Rock's intro, as awesome as it was, made me sad... Not because I'm a Cena fan, but it made me sad that the attitude era promos are long gone, and no one in the current roster can bring the intensity that the Rock and Stone Cold brought to the show. Their words during promos actually had impact; verbal smackdown!
Looks to me like the acting tips Johnson picked up in Hollywood have benefited his promos. Lookin' forward to Survivor Series!
Another highlight definitely worth mentioning is how CM Punk convincingly stole the first half of the show. Nothing new there but tonight's antics were especially enjoyable. Tonight's show was a good one (at least in my book).
Edit: BTW, bonus points for whoever understands and appreciates the tank Punk was wearing during his entrance prior to his match!

And if you bought the soundtrack, just before the end of his track, you got to hear the Great One rant about how he wants you to take out the CD, shine it up, and proceed to position it vertically into the exit of your honey-lined alimentary canal.Runefaust wrote:The Rock's intro, as awesome as it was, made me sad... Re: The Wrestling Thread
Yeah, I thoroughly enjoyed Raw and it had little to do with anything the WWE did. The muppets are just THAT awesome. If anything, the show made me wanna see more Muppets and less wrestling. I did like the Punk stuff though, but he deserves a better guy to feud with. I loved the Ryder and Santino match outcomes too
