'In the end it didn't work out. It was tough, but those were great days and I've never met anybody who regretted buying a Dreamcast.'

nice! But I think Dare Iz A Darkside and Muddy Waters are both better.OldSchool_Boy wrote:

I need to re-listen to them because I must have missed something on the first listen of Whut? Thee because I just can't stop listening it to it now that I gave it a real full listen. I seriously like this album more than either Muddy Waters or Dare Iz A Darkside. Such a hard time figuring out which one is the best of the 3noiseredux wrote: nice! all three are really great. I just prefer to the production on the other two.

Is it because those albums have a better overall sound compared to Whut? Thee or is it something else?noiseredux wrote:all three are really great. I just prefer to the production on the other two.

I just like the beats better. A lot of Whut sounds kind of same to me after a while -- it's got a very heavy BombSquad or EPMD sound to it, whereas I think the next two albums are a little more varied and sort of showcase Red's ability to rap on different beats rather than sticking to a smaller comfort zone.OldSchool_Boy wrote:Is it because those albums have a better overall sound compared to Whut? I see that point of view. A listen or two of Whut? Thee does have the effect that its all just meshing together with a somewhat repetitive sound.noiseredux wrote:I just like the beats better.
