What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I love Rage Comics!

Frown: No kids came to my house tonight on Halloween. Got this big bowl of candy ready for nothing. Guess that's what happens when you're the last house on a dead end street in the middle of the Maine woods. :x

Oh that sucks man, I'm sorry.

On the bright side though, you're well stocked on candy for yourself now.

Ha ha... I've got sacks of Rice Krispies. Thankfully they're more durable than chocolate, but they too sweet for me to handle. :x

In other news, I've been without heat during this mini-blizzard since Saturday. Because how my home is always colder inside than out (The room is 55-degrees at noon; I opened a window because it was 57 outside), I've been hitching longer ride son the city buses just to keep warm.

But, good news  , after a minor rusty flood in the kitchen, the house finally has heat!
My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.
Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.

I actually found a box of Frankenberry cereal today. Surprised the hell out of me. I never actually look for the monster cereals anymore because I almost never find them, even during halloween.

Of course I bought it.

Smile: Thumbing through some Nintendo Power magazines always makes me smile.

Ticked: What kid had them before me really took the scissors to a few of these pages.

Ticked: It's a model 2. Fucker sent me the wrong one.

Frown: Go to pick up a "free" Deer Hunting USA arcade machine, only to have the guy tell me that it was $300 once I blew $150+ on a rental van + gas. Good luck selling that for $300, considering the market for an extremely old deer hunting game is non-existent for anybody other than a guy like me who was only looking to put a CarnEvil board in it.

Smile: Should be picking up Lucky & Wild soon for $150. Considering that's one of my childhood favorites, I'm pretty damn excited.

YoshiEgg25 wrote:Smile: Finally received one of my eBay packages today. This one took longer than expected to get here.

Ticked: The seller didn't unfold the box, which was the one part I actually wanted. Seriously, you send this shit in a non-padded envelope (which had a hole in it upon arrival) and LEAVE THE BOX INTACT?!

Idiot.
Okay, so remember when I posted this?

I e-mailed the guy and told him my issue. He said to send him pictures. I did. After four days, he didn't respond. So I opened up a case today.

This is the reply I got in my eBay e-mail:
eBay wrote: Refund information:
The seller offered a partial refund of $0.25.

Seller's note:
"I will refund .25 cents for the game box. Buyer paid 4.00 shipping and the USPS price alone was 5.58. I also do not state that I offer refunds. "
I am so angry right now. What a fucking asshole.

You tell me that thing that I went out of my way to buy is only worth a quarter, when I paid over six dollars for that specific item? Thanks a bunch, buddy. Real nice.
