Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Finally got a Vectrex yesterday. Paid normal price $100 but i could not pass it by and after hearing horror stories of them damaged in shipping it made me feel better about my purchase.

Got Neverwinter Nights: Platinum Edition from Goodwill, complete, for $3. I'm going to have to play it with an open mind to see if it's any good or not. Some websites I look at, everyone thinks it's a real mediocre game. Others think it's awesome.

It is a good game, one of my favorite Western RPGs of the last decade.BoringSupreez wrote:Got Neverwinter Nights: Platinum Edition from Goodwill, complete, for $3. A nice transportable game console! There is a Spinnerama cart that converted Vectrex games to work with a regular 2600 driving controller. Spinner Homebrew Omega Chase is included.thevgcollector wrote:Finally got a Vectrex yesterday. Found Mega Man X, Chrono Trigger, and Wario's Woods for 4 bucks apiece (carts only) at the local Goodwill... they have some more carts that I'll have to try to sift through later today lol...

I am so jelly of some of these deals. Damn!
Today I got Dungeons (PC) at Best Buy. There was only one copy on the shelf with a $9.99 price tag. However, when the cashier scanned it, it rang in at $19.99. Manger said it looked like the "1" had "rubbed off" the tag. Thankfully, they honored the $9.99 price.
I generally avoid big box stores and major chains, but I'm starting to like Best Buy more and more. The employees are helpful, games are frequently on sale, and the used games are in great shape. Kind of the antithesis of GameStop.

Most Best Buys I've been in are the exact opposite from what your saying.
