EDITED to include a more descriptive review as requested:
Graphics: For a sega cd game, pretty typical. Slighter better than genesis visuals during the actual gameplay, with some nice animated cut scenes and voice acting thrown in to take advantage of the cd format. Perhaps there could have been a bit more variety in the look of the levels, but still, each level keeps with the arabian theme pretty well.
Sounds and music: Everything fits well with the theme, and it sounds better than a genesis game, but the songs are a bit repetitive.
Gameplay: It's an action/puzzle/platformer, like a 2D tomb raider but with an arabian theme. running, jumping, swordfighting, tripping levers to open doors, trap floors, lethal spikes, and a few special enemies thrown in. also, you only have 1 hour to finish all 12 levels. So there's definitely some racing against the clock, but this will also demand some trial and error, and saving and reloading.
Fun factor: Everything combines together pretty well to make for a very fun game. It is a bit short. Overall it probably took me 10 hours to finish. But then again, for a game that's over 15 years old, that's probably pretty decent.
overall: 8.5/10

Re: review of Prince of Persia (sega CD)
Have to say, this isn't much of a review. You tell us the game is great but you never explain why it's great or why it isn't which is the important stuff.
Sorry if it sounds harsh but it's the truth.
