I'll have to check my notebook, I know i'm at the level 4 boss on 1st credit and my score is 4mil+. It took about 3 weeks to get by the 3rd boss, but once you do, you should be very close to a bonus life since you get like 600K for that boss.

There's also a J only disc with both games on it. The first one is a vert. It works fine with HD loader.Soldier Blue wrote: It's Sengoku Blade also known as Sengoku Ace II. One of the better shmups for the Saturn. It's a horizontal shooter made by Psikyo set in feudal Japan where you shoot cards at things. From what I've heard anyway, haven't actually played it yet though

Re: What shmup are you playing now?
I picked up the Japanese versions of Einhander and Raycrisis today at a local game shop.
I have a confession to make: I have never really given Einhander a chance. I played it a few times back in the 90s and gave it another few tries maybe 2 years ago. But I just never got it. Last night I was watching a JTV stream of Shadow of the Colossus HD and the host randomly popped in Einhander. He was actually pretty good at the game, too. After seeing the game played properly and witnessing the hidden routes and weapons, I decided to pick it up if I found it for a good price.
I was actually looking for a copy of Gunners Heaven that was in the same store about a month earlier when I looked down and saw the Einhander import (CIB, spine and all). I decided it was fate. Thankfully my modded Playstation is in a good mood and I was able to sit down for some quality time.

I don't think Cave released any games for the Dreamcast, unfortunately.EllertMichael wrote:Speaking of which... why the fuck didn't Progear get a Sega Dreamcast port?!?dunpeal2064 wrote:Aww, we are finally gonna start some shmup competition, and its for a pcb-only game?
