What single player FPS campaign are you playing?

I remember playing Doom with a mouse ball back in the day, lol.

why on earth would it be WASD instead of up, left, down, right arrows???

Because it gives you easy access to a large number of other keys. The arrow keys are pretty isolated. Additionally, many earlier keyboards didn't have the arrow keys in the nice cross we have now, but they were four in a row.

That said, I don't use WASD, but I have a really weird setup that I developed myself when I decided to start using the mouse in the Quake 2 days. I use right click as move forward, S and G as strafe, and D and F as move backwards.

WTF, lol.

Interestingly enough Ultima Underworld has kind of a weird almost WASD like setup, instead of the arrows it used those keys, although A and D are used for turning instead of strafing. It works for that game though.

Also Call of Pripyat runs like crap on my PC, figured it would I guess. Even on low it just seems to stutter too much. I'll play a little more to see if it gets better, but yeah probably not. It already looks like this game renders way bigger maps than the first Stalker, so that might be killing it for me. Still got it for dirt cheap, so something to look forward too someday...

I remember I used a custom config file when I played it using my old 6800.

I guess fastbilly1 needs glasses. Anyways exactly. Pulsar just quoted a huge post about multiple games so it was very vague, I'll assume Pulsar was talking about Stalker CoP though. If so is there any chance you remember where you got it? I know magical config/dll files exist out there... haha. I got one for Fallout NV and it made the game run so much better it was pretty hilarious.

playing campaign mode on Battlefield 3 for ps3. Tell you what there are some pretty awesome moments in the game, or maybe because im more of a retro gamer and rarely see graphics of this scale.

OMG moment- on an aircraft carrier looking at the ocean and about to jump in the back seat of a fighter jet.

Just finished BF3 campaign. Unlike what I've been reading about single player, I found it quite enjoyable. Now for some multiplayer action.

I've looked at the filefront mod section but can't seem to find it.. The game should have been optimised by now, I played the launch-day release and someone hastily put up a config file that made the game playable for me. Sorry couldn't be of more help.

As for the BF3 campaign, just encountered my first bug. Hilarious, had to restart mission.
