Idiot.
Sucks man. :( I've been there all too often. In fact, I'm in the middle of an eBay dispute for a game that was insufficiently packaged. Ticks me off so bad.

Make 'em pay! :x
I sent him a message. Considering he didn't reply to my last one, I don't have high hopes for it. Looks like I'll be in another dispute in no time. >:|

Sorry that happened. I hope you get it resolved.

Is it really that hard to use a box?

I know! The problem was that he also included a guidebook (which I didn't care much about anyway), so the package came and was larger than it needed to be.

What needed to happen is that he needed to increase shipping on it. I would've been fine with that.

No matter what site I'm buying on I usually send the seller a message stating that I'd like them to use a box for shipping. Of course some items don't need it, but if I'm spending some dough on a fragile cardboard box you better believe I'll pay the extra to ship it safe.

This pretty much applies to American sellers though. I've never had a problem with Japanese sellers. I think they understand that items can go through some pretty serious hell during shipping.

I'll have to start doing that. I never really thought that hard about this stuff because I always ship my stuff in a box. People are just too cheap about shipping.

I'll do it tomorrow, probably. Give him the chance to respond to my e-mail (where I outright asked for a refund), I'm pretty damn unhappy about it, especially when he missed the estimated shipping date by FOUR DAYS. Seriously, that's nearly an entire work week right there.

I had a twelve hour day at work today, but then I got home and found that my wife, with the help of some of my family, had put together a huge surprise birthday party for me.

It lasted a good 7 hours, and it was fucking awesome. Best birthday ever!

Smile: Drawing the schematics to reverse engineer the Dreamcast vs link cable as we speak.

Ticked: It's a tedious job not without difficulties. But I think I just might pull it off in the end.

More ticked: I'm tired.

Awesome, a good party in your honor always does good. Good to hear you had a good time. Any good stories from the event?
