Datel Megamaster: is it worth it?
Datel Megamaster: is it worth it?
I'm looking to play Master System games off my Multi-Mega, I already have a bunch of MS games but don't really want to have another console plugged up. The master Converter I doesn't fit my system and the 2nd one is quite expensive online so my other option is the third-party Datel Megamaster. Does anyone own one who can tell me if it works well, or does it have compatibility issues? I remember having a third party one of some sort as a kid that worked fine, although it wasn't the Datel one. Ta.

Can you post a pic? I had a generic one when I was a kid but I can't rember what brand it was. Maybe it was the same one.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

If the blue pause button was really small then it sounds like you had the same one as me.
Although that one looks very similar. Minus the sticker, the lack of pause button and darker plastic.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

I think the one I had may have been a HES branded one or something like that.
