Telstar Marksman Coleco
Got this at a garage sale this summer for $3.00. Works but takes two 9 volt batteries.

Heck I am jealous of your Apple II+CRTGAMER wrote: That is sweet! Search the Threads for C64. There is some good info in here.
I'm just now dipping my toes into vintage computing. The sheer amount of peripherals you can get makes my head spin. I'm looking for another good deal on an Atari 800 and Coleco Adam at the moment.
Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Also have an Educator 64 which is a C64 inside a PET housing. The Commodore 64 has a ton of peripherals. Light Pen, Koala pad, Midi adapters, 80 column board in 64 mode, speedup carts for both the floppies and cassette drives. The best thing about 8 bit computers is that they can be hooked up to the HDTV, the forgotten game "console" that uses real game carts.alexjames01 wrote:Heck I am jealous of your Apple II+CRTGAMER wrote: That is sweet! Atari 800 - Lookup Star Raiders and actually a decent port of E.T.
Coleco Adam - Not much in this, a flop at the stores.
This item is one of the more rare devices for the C64. A speedup cart that not loads but actually runs all the games four times faster.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Just made my semi dry spell of intense searching totally pay off. I am still in shock of the finds I got today. Went to a goodwill that is a little out of the way to try and get something needed for my Halloween costume, and came out with arms full of stuff.
Sorry for the crappy pic!
Genesis (all $2 each)
Cool Spot (no manual)
Fantasia (no Manual)
Little Mermaid CIB
Hang On/ Safari Hunt (master system, CIB)
Cart Only:
Streets Of Rage
Golden Axe
Fatal Fury
Flashback
Game Genie
Gamecube:
Super Mario Strikers CIB
Sonic Gems collection (no manual, can finally play Sonic CD again)
Gamecube controller was $3
Snes Arcade stick-$3 (crazy since I literally found the genesis version of this same stick on Sunday for 2.99)
Then we stopped at a local used record/games store and found this gem kicking it on the shelf
Final Fantasy 7 -$4
Then in one of the Genesis Boxes was this sweet poster (double sided) It will be going up in the game room ASAP!

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Saw an ad on Gumtree for a DC and games..
Seller wanted £30 or was willing to swap for a classic Xbox.
Thumbed through my duplicate Xbox items and came up with..
Xbox crystal
3rd party controller
Leads
Enter the Matrix
LMA Manager
Need For Speed, Underground 2
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2003
Tom Cancy's Splinter Cell
Wreckless, The Yakuza Missions
All aquired in bulk lots and estimate they cost me about £10.
Seller agreed to trade
Exchanged yesterday and got..

The game missing it's cover is Jo Jo's Bizarre Adventure.
Most cases damaged but the discs are in good condition.
When the seller handed me the bag with the DC in I noticed some NTSC/J cases which the seller hadn't listed on the add
He said he had lost interest in the DC and I was welcome to the extra NTSC/J games
On returning home I found..
Feeling a little bit guilty on this trade, but hey, it wasn't like I held a gun to his head.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Yes, although it would be even better if I didn't already own all of it, I just can't help myself when I see what I percieve to be a bargain, especially DC stuffnoiseredux wrote:^wow. Pretty amazing instant collection!
So exited about that lot I forgot to add my recent Ebay finds..

£5 posted, in mint condition, apart from where I tried to remove a sticker from the back and ripped the cover artwork

£31 posted, as it was only wrapped in brown paper the box suffered some slight damage to the top right hand corner
This is the 7th set of these I have.
3 Pal
2 NTSC/J
1 NTSC/U
1 3rd party
