I think I am going to just peek in every now and then, and might answer a few, but for the most part, I'll be nice like Hobie and let others (with things to do) play this round.

Just a note to the hosts... beware of Google's reverse image search. The informal NTG thread that has been semi-active lately has been solvable with Google's new tool. In other words, no more Gamefaqs or Mobygames screens.

Anyhow, I hope tons of people play this round, and keep it close and exciting. I like the new answering restriction, I hope that helps. With any luck we will get more audio clues this round (I love those, although I'm not very good with them).

I am probably in the minority that really just prefers plain and simple screenshots over various hardware and trivia questions, partial screens or screens imposed on objects, etc. Are you planning on doing a more straightforward contest like the earlier rounds, or something closer to what we've seen more recently? if it's the latter, I probably won't be too engaged...

Ooh, maybe I'll make a collection of 800 hertz sine tones from a bunch of 8 bit systems and the challenge will be to label what systems they came from based on the nuances the filters introduce.
