I'm 28, 5'10 and 217, down from about 245 two months ago. I've been keeping my calorie intake below 2000 and bicycling a few times a week. I'd like to get back down to around 180 and get rid of my gut. I was going to post a before/after pic that I already made up but I can't get on my photobucket account at the office.

Man, you crack me up. Love your sense of humor. I really did have a good laugh. Anyway, what you said reminded me of a story that I read about a girl who was told she was fat when she played Wii Fit. Her mom was so upset that she wrote a letter of complaint. Many people replied back with sympathy. However, a few suggested that she should post a pic of the kid so that they can judge for themselves if she was fat or not. I thought that was just a bit insensitive but hilarious nonetheless.
Have I made alot of jokes around here before? Just wondering since you say you love my sense of humor. Or did you simply say it because of that single post?

Just that single post, cuz most of the time I don't pay attention to who is writing the comment besides the Mods. Anyway, must it be that one has to say a certain amount of funny comments to be able to have a sense of humor? Perhaps I was wrong in judging that you had a sense of humor from your comment, which I thought was hilarious. Sorry if I've offended you. You are now officially not funny in my book.Oraichu wrote:

Nope, not offended at all. As I said in my post, I was just wondering.peace4myheart wrote:Just that single post, cuz most of the time I don't pay attention to who is writing the comment besides the Mods. People always think I'm funny(unless they dont care the same humor that is...), I just thought it sounded a bit quick judgement to love someone's sense of humor based on 1 post, so I thought maybe you had read some other posts by me.

Straying off topic...
Interesting. I was familiar with the practice but not the term. My wife described me as a flexitarian the other day and that totally fits. About the only time I eat meat is when we go out to a restaurant, which is typically only once a month. It's not for any ethical or health reasons that I rarely eat it though. Just kind of happens by default. My wife is vegetarian and happens to be an amazing cook.vlame wrote:6 foot 2

My kids (ages 9, 9, and soon to be 4) have never eaten meat and think the very idea is gross!
I live in the Deep South, xraydash, and the only vegetarians I've ever met were very...well...weird. Just about everybody here eats meat. Of course, many of the people I know down here are willing to kill, prepare, and cook that meat too, so...yeah.
Anyway, I'm 6'0" and I weigh right around 160 lbs., though I've gained weight recently because I started putting on muscle. Lowest I've been in the last few years was actually 135, after I lost 15 pounds while eating nothing but Ramen noodles in college. Had to pay for my video games somehow. I quit drinking cokes a year ago and I try to exercise a good bit. I've always been pretty thin, and I don't like having much fat on me.
