Gigapepsiman,

I know the problem. You didn't have your proper glasses on. You need to see the truth:

It's true, the PC Engine is the best system ever, therefore I don't like any other system. I still play them all though to see how badly they fare against the PC Engine.

But which console do you dislike. Remember, saying "everything that isn't PC Engine" is not acceptable!

If you can't think of anything, most people just say "N64." Saying "SNES" might be more fun, though.

The buttons are laid out in a diamond like most others. Presumably you can remember where ABXY are.

·····X

Y········A

So think of them as numbers in order.

·····3

4‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌········1

·····2

Now think about the number of 'strokes' to create the shapes with a pencil/pen/brush.

O - 1 round stroke
X - 2 strokes
Δ - 3 strokes
□ - 4 strokes

·····Δ

□‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌········O

·····X

They're in the same order and placement.

brilliant.
I've been wondering about the logic behind the PS button's symbols and layout ever since I first held a Dualshock. Now I know.

My profile here is correct. I'm 29. I played Duck Hunt when I was 5 and got my own NES for my 6th birthday.

Nothing on the 3DO, Saturn or PS1 comes close to Super Mario 64. They had 3D games, but they looked and played very primitive.
Seriously? Primitive? Come on, you can't be serious here, are you? In comparison to N64, PS1 isn't that far apart. Personally I like the look of many PS1 games over N64 games because N64 just can't do textures right on many games. Sega CD, Sega 32X, and Jaguar had primitive 3D. What about stuff like Panzer Dragoon: Zwei on Saturn, Need For Speed on 3DO, or Tekken 3 on PS1? Those are all technical marvels for their times.
