Gonna play some Daimakaimura (Ghouls n Ghosts) on SuperGrafx before bed. Hope I don't get nightmares!
I really want a SuperGrafx just for that version of Ghouls N Ghost! One day I'll pick it up.

Most of my ebay bids occur at night... But actually, night time is usually the time I find to play. Not saying which happens more... :P

3 am.

I'm trying to figure out how the hell we're gonna put together a halloween costume for my wife.

We've found some parts, but not others, and there's just not much time left. I wish we hadn't waited so long to work on our costumes, but we weren't even sure we'd be able to attend the party we need them for until yesterday.

Curses...

It seems I'd rather stay up tonight watching American Pickers and playing Castlevania Aria of Sorrow on the Game Boy player for Gamecube.

It's much harder than the Genesis version because you don't have unlimited continues and you don't spawn at the bosses. :(

More on this later...in the reviews section hopefully before the weekend.

Distractions allow our brains to work in the background, but really relaxing and clearing out our thoughts allow all that background thinking to come to the fore. And there are usually less distractions late at night than there are during the day, so...
I have a few books I consider required reading for everyone. The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind by Julian Jaynes is one. In it, he discusses how conscious thought actually interferes with decision making and creativity. "Sleeping on it" is not just a figure of speech.

I tend to be the same. I will sometimes even reach the point where I turn the TV on, but then get stuck reading retro reviews or watching gameplay videos on YouTube.

I've been spending too much time researching games and browsing Ebay as well. I'm shopping for DS Lites before the holiday shopping starts, but as soon as I get all the DS's I need I'll quit that.

A little after 2am here, still up doing work. I have had a productive day, but will probably suffer for it tomorrow. Oh well.

Maybe I will unwind with some Battlefield 3 and then call it a night...
