One major step closer to Dr. JT

Post by J T »

I passed my dissertation defense today! :D :D :D

As some of you know, I am a graduate student in clinical psychology. I don't talk about it much because I usually come here to decompress and get away from all that. But this is really big news for me- a dissertation is no small accomplishment and having to defend years of research work involving complex statistical analyses is intimidating.

Now, I just need to apply and get accepted into an internship, then after a year of internship you can all call me doctor. 8)

Congrats, J T! That's a huge feat!

Awesome, man! Welcome to the club!

Do you have much in the way of revisions to do? Did they make you wait in the hall? Was it stressful?

Awesome JT! That's one hell of an accomplishment.

Just be prepared for one of us (probably me) to make a lame "What's up doc?" joke at some point.

Congrats man!

...though what you've described is pretty much the exact reason why I am happy with my BA. Maybe I'll go back for my masters one day but the doctoral program does not sound like it's for the weak.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
