There's no way I would take the time out of my day to brew it that way 7x a week. Probably just on my days off. That's like 1 quart a week. I'm back to being psyched on it!

I HIGHLY recommend Technivorm Brewers. I've tested probably close to 2 dozen drip brewers, and I've yet to find any other device (for drip) to trump a Technivorm. For starters:

-Consistent water temperature to brew basket. Optimal range of 197.6 - 204.8 F. Most brewers reach around 178-185 at best. This results in duller flavors and incomplete extraction of all essential flavors, nuances, etc. Still, I don't recommend any drip brewer for maximum extraction and flavor. I reserve that crown for presses and pour over methods.

-No pumps, no valves, no goofy internal components. Only a basic well-crafted all copper heating element to consistently boil the water.

-9-hole sprayhead ensures ample infusion of grounds. Lots of hot water contacting the grounds faster.

-It brews fast! I wanna say roughly 5 minutes for 10 cups.

The only caveat, no timer. Truly coffee should be brewed and immediately enjoyed. Expect a fresh cup to go stale after about 15 minutes.

This is the model I own: Thermal carafe models are also available, but again, I just don't see the point in storing coffee for extended periods. It's meant to be enjoyed immediately while still fresh.

I roast, grind, and brew from scratch. All green, single-origin lots.

Pardon? Coffee presses are dirt simple. Pour in coffee grounds, pour in boiling water, wait a few minutes, push down the plunger and pour. I generally just rinse the grounds out on a daily basis and only really wash it occasionally. No more difficult than a drip coffee maker.
