Well, WWE Vengeance was a bust imo, I feel sorry for the people that paid for it. I'm not going to spoil anything, but sure, the show had some highlights but honestly no more than a routine Monday or Friday show would showcase. I'm really feeling sad for wrestling... there's only so much you can do with the theatrics and the wrestling itself is starting to grow a bit stale. It's time to find a new creative department. The athleticism of the wrestlers is about the only thing keeping me entertained at this point.

I think there is hardly place for wrestling outside the "14 and under" age group.
Times have changed and people are more busy than ever, with the new form of entertainment and its availability (compare DVD box set, to vhs) now I can get any show for my entertainment on the go, free(torrent) or paid for, so it goes for games. I can literally play like all the genesis+snes games on my cell phone and thats just wats in my pocket.

UFC rise is not helping either. Wrestling place is diminishing big time. Plus its nowhere half as entertaining as it used to be. I mean if you compare RAW from '98 to 2010 u will see what I mean. Even in the 80's it was fun to see Million Dollar Man, Jake the Snake, Hogan, and more. Now Sheamus doesn't cut it really

I don't get how you can have THREE major promotions(Ring of Honor, TNA and WWE)and somehow they are ALL run by people who are either complete idiots, or they just don't care about pro wrestling. I mean seriously, what are the odds of that?

It's not rocket science. IT'S NOT HARD TO DELIVER A GOOD WRESTLING PRODUCT!!!

and yet somehow, all three promotions are just complete garbage right now

Sigh. I would just like to say to everyone behind the scenes running TNA, WWE and ROH right now, FUCK YOU GUYS!!!!

You have seriously talented, hardworking, road warriors busting their asses and shortening their lifespans in the ring week in, week out and you dipshit, moronic, dumbass writers, bookers, and promotors don't have even the shred of common sense required to really make these guys into bigger stars than they are and get them more exposure and popularity because you all have your heads up your asses. The things I could do with all the talent in TNA and WWE right now and every week I am seeing guys just get wasted(Morrison), screwed over(Robert Roode)or being held back from the greatness they are capable of(CM Punk)

DAMN!!!!

This a hundred times over... so much untapped potential going to waste. There's very little variety in the match cards these days and the roster that they keep pushing just doesn't have the impact that the ones in the past have had.

To be fair to TNA - RVD flaked out on them as champion so I don't have any sympathy for him.

I feel ya, and don't disagree, but there has got to be a lot of behind the scenes stuff going on to explain some of the issues fans find so frustrating.

On a smaller scale, i've had jobs where a problem would arise, and a simple solution would be clear to me, but a higher up with a better view of all the moving pieces would choose a different strategy. I'm not defending WWE and TNA, just saying that management sees things from a different perspective than us at ground level.

Also, booking, scripting, and the logistics of travel and filming over 20 hours of original programming featuring dozens of characters each month seems to push the limits of human endurance, and even TNA and ROH's lesser schedules must be taxing. If WWE was not a publicly traded company with shareholder's to answer to maybe slowing down a bit would give them breathing room to develop more compelling storylines and characters, but as it is the bottom line dictates that while we are occasionally served steak, most of the menu consists of processed junk food.

Have you guys seen RVD vs Cena at One Night Stand (ECW territory) ... this the funniest crap I've ever seen, these people HATE Cena.

You just can't beat ECW crowds.

So from what I read on the results online, absolutely nothing of significance happened at Vengeance and no titles changed hands. With the exception of "Big Daddy Slow" Kevin Nash showing up, correct?

I'd be pissed if I paid $30-$40 to watch this.

That was one of the best pay per views ever. That was before WWE completely neutered the One Night Stand pay per view. It was a true ECW tribute show and had the edge you just don't see in the WWE anymore
watched it this morning. that is a great short documentary on Scott Hall. very emotional road for the bad guy. nice to see that his son is making the most of his life given left and keeping his dad sober and drug free possible.
on the radio they were talking about this E:60 and they said that his ex-wife came out after it aired and said that him and his son are no longer on speaking terms due to him going back to drugs again. the kid doesn't need that loser to succeed in life. His son should be his own man and follow his own path.

that was Justin Credible who was in the ring with him in that scene when he was F'd up.

he was a good wrestler in ECW. I wondered whatever happened to him.
