Video Game "Look what I found"
Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Just picked up a couple of Game and Watches for 300 yen (about 4$) each. One of them, Snoopy Tennis, is broken but the other, Donkey Kong Jr, is a beauty and works great. Even had the battery cover still on it! Put some pics here:

Gosh senseiman, I think it was your blog that warned readers not to read it due to possible jealously because of your finds. Naturally I did read one particular post concerning some amazing console finds at ridiculous bargain bin prices, and hated myself for clicking your link

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
oh man that donkey kong game brings back memories!
Used to have one when I was a kid! Dont remember where I got it or who gave it to me. Played it a lot untill the battery died. I was too poor to get more batteries.
I lost that game a long time ago.
Congrats on getting it.

Rocket Knight Adventures-$2 (has a stupid sticker on the top of the label that will rip it if I try to remove it)
Its a trip how my camera blacked out the rest of the room, as it was pretty well lit when i took the pic lol.

Wizardry VII was $1.99 the last time I was at Goodwill, but I didn't buy it! Hopefully it's still there this afternoon.

^^ Goo Gone used straight can (not always) but can begin to etch the cart.
Conditions will vary (type of cart, type of sticker, how much gloss are on both the cart and label, etc)...but in general I go this route: Elbow Grease>Windex>Rubbing Alcohol>Goo Gone>Goof Off. Gently increasing effectiveness depending on how nasty the culprit. The last item, Goof Off will take away anything, including your will to live.

I'd be careful with Goo Gone (personal experience), since it can actually ruin the label if you're not careful.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Using something that is water or oil based is going to be bad on a paper label that will soak it up. Something oily (I thought Goo Gone was orange oil) will soak into the paper and never come completly out. Something water based can cause wrinkles.
Now if this is a glossy label with no scratches through the gloss layer these things might be safe as long as one stays away from the edges.

Meteos for DS - £5. Not the Disney version.
I have no idea how good a deal this is, but this game seems surprisingly hard to find nowadays, and £5 isn't a price to turn your nose up at, at the very least.
