For right now, i'm only 1 short of what I need. I plan on at least 4 more carts though, maybe 5...so i'd say 1/2 a dozen is what I need looking ahead.

I've been seeing auctions go lower from the usual $45 bins. One went for $25 plus shipping a few weeks ago, and I was kicking myself for not pursuing it more actively. This one was an easy snipe

Tbh, there's still a lot left in my Saturn collection to get to, so this may be sitting on the shelf for awhile. Still, it's better to get it now before the price jumps, like all of my collected Saturn imports have a habit of doing, hahaha! Assault Suit Leynos 2 and Groove on Fight quickly come to mind

he lives in japan!

this is his blog

http://famicomblog.blogspot.com/

has some awesome stuff in it too
Haha, I kind of figured he is in Japan. I was curious where exactly he is. Teaching English I guess, from his username.

After reading the intro to his blog, I learned he lived in some mid-sized city in Kyushu. I guess that means he doesn't live in the most awesome slightly-larger than mid-sized city in the world; Fukuoka. I love that city.
Actually I do live in Fukuoka. It is big by Kyushu standards, but counts more as `mid-sized` by Japanese standards in general. I love this city too. I used to teach English but have since moved onto other things.

Nice list of finds BTW. I actually just bought a Sega SG-1000 II for the exact same amount myself. Works and everything, it was a great bargain!

And Flojocarbon - thanks! :D

my nephew managed some stuff

saints row 2 (GH, PS3 CIB) - $7 @ pawn shop
bulletstorm (360, no manual) - $10 @ family video
splatterhouse (360, CIB) - $10 @ family video
l.a. noire (ps3, cib) - $20 @ family video

course he is 14 and only had $20, so I bought them and now he owes me some money. but we can't pass up deals.

Hit a fleamarket today after working a night shift from hell. Haven't tested most of the stuff yet. Everything is PAL/European version.

Image

Atari 2600Jr, bunch of games (that's Pole Position that's all shiny in the photo), Commodore paddles, Atari/Amiga joystick (needs fixing, feels great), Commodore 64 carts (to sell/trade). All for 10 euro.

Image

Boxed unused Nintendo Pikachu Tamagotchi type of thing. 2 euro. Impulse buy. Initially I thought that it was the Pokemon console. Now it seems I have a "friend for life". Creepy.
Sealed GBC Pokemon Silver with some very minor damage in one corner. 2 euros. I'll sell/trade this.
Sealed GBC Pokemon Pinball. Seal opened up on one side due to age. No damage otherwise. 2 euros. Might sell/trade but will probably keep and play.
Mostly harmless

I love it when people don't have a clue what they have on eBay. I just bought a Microvision, complete in the box with the manual, with the game Blockbuster, and even the foam inserts for the box for 99 cents plus shipping. AWESOME! For those that don't know, Microvision is the world's first handheld gaming system released in 1979 by Milton-Bradley. The guy had it listed as "Electronic Programmable Gaming System".

An ebay search of "Electronic Programmable Gamins System" shows the listing...he had the word "Microvision" in the title? Plus shipping was $15, of which half was likely profit for him.

The ones i've seen (sparingly as it may be go for about $30 total - the insane buy now's rarely sell).

I'm showing guilty gear x on that link. But yeah, $15 was the shipping. So what. The games alone are going for $40 a piece. So I'm dang happy to get the system complete in box with a game for $15.99 total.

^Fixed the link, my bad.

The point of your post was that the seller was an idiot and listed the item improperly, correct? The seller listed the most important word, "Microvision" and really there isn't much else to say about it. I'm not saying its not a good find, but it was listed fine. $16 shipped is prob about half what the total should be $30-35 plus a game, so it is a nice deal, that's cool.

The games that are listed at $39 buy now...have been listed and re-listed forevah, they don't sell for that.
