I'd give the 3rd one a 3/5. Jenny Mcarthy is awesome though.

Poltergeist II

It starts well, it drags on a little bit, then it becomes awesome and finally the film ends with a whimper. Meh.

Paranormal Activity 3

I liked this a lot, it's fucking scary, unlike 2 or 1. I recommend it a lot and consider this: I hated the first one and I thought that 2 was good but not amazing.

The Woman

This has to be one of the most horrifying things I've ever seen. However, it's a fantastic movie, it's well acted, the script is fantastic and Lucky McKee (The guy that made May and Red, another movie based on a Jack Ketchum book) proofs again that he's a fantastic director.

Not for everyone (It's a hard R, just look at the content: Rated R for strong bloody violence, torture, a rape, disturbing behavior, some graphic nudity, and language) but it's definetely interesting to see a story about a disturbed family that's under constant abuse by the father and how they react at his insanity.

Just watched both Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Pet Cemetery for the first time tonight. Both were fucking crazy.

I actually thought Pet Cemetery was way more disturbing. And the dad in that movie has got to be the stupidest person in the history of horror films. I cannot fathom his idiocy. Granted he did kind of go off the deep end.

So yeah. Now I'm going to bed.

Major controversial statement: I have never seen The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

As for Pet Cemetary, yeah, it's pretty disturbing, that fucking kid...

Remedy this. Now. It may be the all time best horror film.

I watched Santa Sangre last night. It was quite captivating and as visually striking as I'd hoped. I definitely like The Holy Mountain more, and I am not sure how well Santa Sangre works as a horror genre film, but it was still a memorable viewing.

The Holy Mountain has spoiled me in terms of just insane movies. I watched Phantasm a week back or so and thought it was pretty crazy - but it still just barely approached Holy Mountain in terms of overall randomness. Both those movies had midget violence though.

Got a chance to finally watch this on the big screen for a midnight screening and I enjoyed it. The plot concerning the doctor on the island was far more interesting than the other involving the women looking for what happened to her dad but when two connected it worked better than I thought it would have. The climax in the hospital was great and I really like the ending with the Brooklyn bridge.

Cold Fish

I liked it but I hated the ending, it's very disturbing so I wouldn't recommend it to average horror viewers.
