What are you listening to? [VGM Edition]

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

JT - You're the man now, dog! Thanks a ton! If I come across any archives that are mp3 or other than native console formats I'll post em'.

The ancient Zophar's Domain has a good selection of stuff in their native formats, along with downloads to a lot of the plugins needed to play them and whatnot:

And just to randomly throw it out there for the record, I would easily argue that the Genesis VGM format is insanely superior to the GYM format. Check out this place for VGM Genesis rips:

I think I'll update my first post to include all these links and others.

And Stage 2 is definitely my favorite from Silius. 8) , that song is HUGE and pretty dynamic for an NES track.

Thanks! I've used Zophars for a while now. I've just been lazy about the codecs. I suppose I could just convert stuff myself if I really wanted to.

Been rocking Alien Syndrome for Genesis today!

I tend to just keep it simple and grab all the Winamp plugins... haha, yes I'm still sporting an old version of Winamp. 4 Life!

That DXHR soundtrack is taking its sweet time. VGM Legacy ripped the music from the game but it's too much.

Gotta love how the official OST is like 12 tracks, but neglects to have like ~30 some tracks of all the ambiance and the good stuff, heh. Luckily game rips of the full audio are out there.

Thankfully the OST will have double the number of tracks made available in the Augmented Edition.

That definitely looks a lot better. I still can't believe the Augmented Edition doesn't have Jensen's Apartment theme, one of the best in the game.

Still my gamerip is 73 tracks and about 3 hours long, heh.

In other news Sonic Retro put up nearly a gig's worth of Sonic Generations music.
