I'll have to check it out then, I've been listening to their songs at random and have enjoyed pretty much everything they've thrown at me.dsheinem wrote:Dead Cities, Red Seas & Lost Ghosts is one of the best instrumental electronic albums of all time, and I'd recommend it to anyone. I've liked their stuff since then, too, but they haven't yet equaled Dead Cities, in my book.
What are you listening to at the present? (genres helpful)

DSH may have oversold Dead Cities a bit, but it is a fantastic album. M83 is excellent all around. I haven't picked up the new one yet, but my favorite is possible Saturdays=Youth.Ora Ora! wrote:I'll have to check it out then, I've been listening to their songs at random and have enjoyed pretty much everything they've thrown at me.dsheinem wrote:Dead Cities, Red Seas & Lost Ghosts is one of the best instrumental electronic albums of all time, and I'd recommend it to anyone. really? Weird. I have it probably tied with Dead Cities as my favorite. Dead Cities is when I got into them, and I've enjoyed everything but something about Saturdays just sounds so... perfect to me I guess.dsheinem wrote: Saturdays=Youth, while excellent, may be my least fave M83 album

understandable. I remember when "Run Into Flowers" came out and it was like one of those songs I'd just put on repeat over and over again.
