...and Child of Eden. Yep, same here.

Hmm. Maybe I will try Craigslist. But I usually prefer to buy my modern systems and accessories new, and then get my games used
I already have Child Of Eden, arguably one of the few games that make me feel happy as hell  . I'm also interested on Ryse, the gladiator game by Crytek running the CryEngine 3 (Now that's probably going to look amazing).

Overall, having a Kinect isn't a bad thing, the same with the PS Move and the Wii (Seriously, the system haves some true masterpieces).

I've actually been wondering the same thing...I'm want to get Child of Eden but I don't have a Xbox, let alone a Kinect. I have a PS3 but I'd rather get a Kinect than a PS move if I'm going to get some kind of motion-control thingamabob.

I'd like the price of the Kinect-only games to drop, $40 is too high IMO.

Both versions of the game are great but the PS3 version comes with some extras along with a 3D mode. However, there's a much smaller ammount of particles and special effects on the PS3 version, probably to keep a stable framerate on 3D.

Hmmm, I'll have to keep that in mind. I don't like 3D but I do like extras...honestly, I haven't researched the specifics per platform I just know that I want it :P So thank you for pointing the differences out.

I'm still kind of leaning towards the Kinect because it seems like there will be more games utilizing it in a good way in the future - but that may just be because I own a PS3, and the stuff you don't have is always more appealing

The PS3 version has less slowdown in general. It felt weird going back to the 360 version after playing on the PS3 for a while.

Child of Eden is the only game currently out I'd be interested in trying a Kinect for (I have the 360 version already because it was $20 on sale at Best Buy). I don't think I'd want to pay for a Kinect just for that - if they were half the current price (or less) I'd consider one, but even then mostly for hooking up to the PC.

That's also true, but the game in general targets 60 FPS on both plattforms and it achieves it, unlike other games...*cough*cough*Bayonetta*cough*cough*CallOfDuty*cough*cough*

Yeah, but there's a hell of a lot of texture mapping and stuff that goes into those higher tech games like Call of Duty. Sometimes the only way to achieve the smoothest frame-rate possible, especially when dealing with things like online play, they have to dial it down to 30fps to keep everything running steady at all times.

With the next generation of systems, I'm sure we'll see more games running at 1080p/60fps
