Kid friendly Halloween films that adults can tolerate?

I have a four year old boy who wants to watch some "scary" movies, but I'm obviously not going to sit down and watch Scream 4 with him. Anyone have any good suggestions for some kid friendly Halloween films that won't make me want to off myself? I'm thinking we are going to watch The Nightmare Before Christmas tonight.

I watch it every year.

Another that would be sorta scary for a 4 year old would be...

'The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad'

And you can end it with

'The Little Vampire'

Not sure if that's what you wanted... I think those movies are sorta fun to watch once a year of course...

How old is your kid? The Blair Witch Project is very tame but the script is filled with f-bombs.

The Dark Crystal is not a horror movie, but it's on the scary end of children's movies. It's also one of my all time favorites.
