I remember coming home from a game of hockey, and CCentral would have a line up that included, stand-up, Dr.Katz, The Critic, and ended with MST3K. I'm all for hanging out with the guys, but those nights of just me, a brew and some Ore-Ida Texas Crispers watching comedy gold was heaven.

You can keep your Dr. Katz, other than that I am in. I remember doing that in college. Friday Night standup until 2, then the Critic, then other shows I cant remember. Sadly the voiceactor for Duke Phillips, Charles Napier, passed away the same day as Steve Jobs so few people noticed.
Ugh, Supernatural is really getting kind of crappy this season. It's just meandering about with no direction. They keep recycling certain things and the Winchesters are just becoming very inconsistent characters. I'm also getting annoyed at how much the show is becoming all about Dean this season. The writers have this annoying habit of always pushing Dean as the good brother while making Sam always seem like the screw up and after six seasons I'm starting to get sick of that tired formula. Also, season 6 set up a pretty interesting arc for a certain character, then abandoned it on the season 7 premiere. The new villains of this season are extremely lame as well.
Oh well, Chuck is back! I enjoyed the season premiere, but haven't seen the second episode yet.
I caught an episode of Grimm and am interested in seeing the second episode
I caught a few episodes of The Big Bang Theory. I can see its appeal. Its comedy seems squarely aimed at the geek/nerd crowd. I might try an watch this show any time I happen to see it on during my channel surfing.

My GF and I still watch these regularly. Whenever Jon Stewart goes on vacation, it's back to 1990s Comedy Central. Don't forget UCB too. That was a great time for Comedy Central.
BTW, have you seen Jon Benjamin Has a Van? You will like it.
