A few I thought of today, school days where I get real sad, due to either emotional or physical stress make me think of playing GameCube. I don't know how I would have made it through the early years if I hadn't had those games to keep me happy.

Cold mornings make me think of Doom. I originally got Doom in the winter. I would get up at around 4 in the morning and start playing so my parents wouldn't know I was playing it. My sister had installed it on the computer, and not told my parents, just for me.
Systems: Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, N64, Gamecube, Xbox 360

WTB: Boxes for a silver Gamecube System(and a hyperport cover), and a box for an Ice Blue N64 console. Will pay 7.50 for each and shipping.

Capcom and SNK fighters I associate with summer. The drawn-out, sun-drenched days dedicated to conquering all comers from M.Bison to Rugal Bernstein, from best friends to random onlookers feeling lucky and beyond.

no - I do have a bizzare OS association though - when I smell Palmolive 'Milk & Honey' liquid soap, it reminds me of when I first installed Windows 2000 (honestly)...

The new plastic smell from opening a brand new game usually reminds me of playing Duke Nukem 3D

The PS2 Deus Ex for me, haha. I don't know what it was, but that case and book had a very nice distinct smell to it...

A cold wind at around magic hour always makes me think of Chrono Cross. I use to flim sports and during halftime I would play Chrono Cross on my PSone on my CCTV monitor I used during the games. It was an odd setup without sound, but I loved that game. After work I would come home, hook it up to my amiga monitor at the foot of my bed and play even more. I played most of the US RPGs on the console this way, but Chrono Cross is the only one that stuck with me.

Old chlorine tablets makes reminds me of Baku Baku, Daytona USA, and Goldeneye. My uncles pool always had a bucket of the old tablets near it, he had switched to a different system and left them there until this year (sixteen years later). But we would always go over there during the summer, swim, then go play Saturn games on their "massive" 27 inch tv. And by would always, I mean as long ago as a couple months ago.

Wet air from a basement always reminds me of two things: Red Alert 2 and my Grandfathers Bombshelter. RA2 because at the same uncles house we use to do LANs back in the day before everyone could do it and Jedi Knight and Red Alert 1&2 were our games of choice. My Grandfathers Bombshelter's sink had a slow drip so it always smelled that way aswell.

Missile Command and Yar's Revenge will forever remind me of being back in Chicago, sitting next to my Father.

Top Gun on NES will forever remind me of getting the NES while I was living in Columbus Ohio.

FFX and Tekken 3 will always remind me of college.

Ballz 3D will forever remind me of this forum.

Yep.
Since this signature affects old posts, I'm leaving a message here in case anyone searches for my username. This account died in early 2013. I am no longer a fundamentalist.

Don't add to my problems by pretending my past views are still held in the present. I do not have any patience for that. Feel free to ask me what I think now.

I used to listen to Dig Your Own Hole by the Chemical Brothers when playing Toejam and Earl. Now I think of the other whenever I do one. The music fits quite well.

The Cure - Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me reminds me of lying on this huge block of foam from a refrigerator sized server that I used to have and playing NES Rygar.
