WTF Podcasts, NPR, and very little music. Listened to Hefty Fine by BHG and some Kreyshawn over the weekend though.

I was pleasantly surprised to see this arrived a day early :). Liking it so far through the initial listen!

I used to listen to Marc Maron's podcasts. His whining about how he never made it big or his jealousy of more successful comics just became intolerable. I'm not a Ghallager or Joe Rogan fan but he was kind of being a dick to them when they were his guests. That's when I kinda gave up. I still went to his show though when he came to my area back in July. Maybe I'll give it another shot since he manages to get some good guests.

I always hear other podcast hosts go on and on about how awesome he is. I tried listening to one of his podcast episodes and it didn't hold my interest for very long.

I'm a pretty big fan of Nerdist Industries podcasts like the Nerdist writer's panel series(they have amazing people on there like Damon Lindelof, Jane Espenson, Matt Nix, etc, etc.) and the original Nerdist podcast by Chris Hardwick, though sometimes I feel like Chris plays too heavily into nerd/geek stereotypes rather than try to disprove them

Where did you order from? I ordered the double LP from Insound. They sent me a coupon code for 20% off one item.

I see. I love M83, but I still hate the title of this album. :? Ah well, it's what's inside that counts.

I've been listening to the Tell 'Em Steve-Dave podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, and the Bastion soundtrack.

I posted this in another thread, but it applies here as well:

Bastion Soundtrack - Mother, I'm Here (Zulf's Theme)

This song has been in my head ever since I beat Bastion a few days ago. It triggers memories from a part of the game that nearly had me in tears. Great game, and excellent sound track. Play it if you haven't, and even if you don't play it, get the soundtrack.

It is a nice day again with the windows open. I think some Jesus Jones is in order. They had some songs that were popular, but I don't think Mike gets credit for writing so many nicely crafted fun pop tunes. I really need to check out some of the stuff past Perverse, which was the first album recorded completely digitally. Anyone remember seeing AAD or ADD on CD packages back then? This was the first DDD one. The mark stood for Analog or Digital for recording/mixing/mastering. Related to everything proclaiming 'digitally mastered' too which is kid of a given since CDs are a digital medium.
