How the hell do you people sleep at night?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Have to agree on the exercise and marijuana. Exercise at least 4-5 hours before bed, then 4-5 inhalations of the ganj 1-2 hours before bed time. Some intercourse 1 hour before bed (right after the marijana) is very helpful, as well.

Exercise. I'll give you a regiment even. :)

Sun - off
Mon - 30 min run
Tues - free weights
Wed - 30 min run
Thurs - free weights
Fri - off
Sat - free weights

I guarantee in a month you'll be sleeping normally again. Exercise in the morning is best, not right before you want to go to bed. Eating right helps too. ;)

I'd prefer not to have drug talk on the forums.
Maybe it's legal in your country, but it isn't in the US.

I highly suffer from insomnia, my sleep changes the whole month through

probably at the first day of the month i wake up at 5 am, bu day 26 i sleep at 5 am...and so goes on.

I also have the hardest time waking up, its almost impossible for me to wake up without having full sleep, and my full sleep is around 10 hours(thank god i dont work)

I hear exercise can put yout o better sleep, i believe that since i hardly move all year long.

quick tip is teach your mind sleep situation. This means before you sleep everynight do something that will make it understand its sleepy time.

For example, reading before you sleep or watching tv. Maybe it will help to dim lights or shut them, wear a pajamas, and maybe spray a certain clone on bed.

I dont do this stuff, but it might help if i did!

I've had luck with Howard Stern's advice. Have a regular bedtime and stick to it. If you're not tired, just lie there because you're still getting some rest at least. Usually after a while you'll fall asleep. There's really not much that can't wait until tomorrow. I've been eating better and exercising lately and it does help keep everything on an even keel.

Practice good sleeping habits. Excercise, eating a healthy diet, sleep on a regular schedule, reduce stress, going to sleep without anything on your mind or having all your issues resolved. Also, the bedroom is used for sex and sleeping only. Take away all the distractions like TV and video games. If the problem is severe, then try sleeping aids (prescription or OTC meds) for a couple of days to get you back on your normal circaidian rhythm. I recommend this as a last resort due to dependency. I also don't recommend illegal drugs (I think people were just joking around, but I think it was in bad taste), alcohol, or sex because of the dependency and abuse issues as well.

I have insomnia, though not too bad. I find music helps a lot. Music always takes my mind off of all the crap that I always think about when I lay there in bed. Reducing the temperature in your house, i.e. below room temperature, will help induce sleep as well. Don't eat a big meal or excercise before you go to bed either. Those and find yourself a good mattress. Trust me on the mattress.

Not completely true. A few areas in the United States allow small amounts of marijuana for personal consumption.
