You thought I was going to post that other song that everyone already knows, didn't you?

If he wants to introduce people to Gary Numan, surely he will start people with "Down In The Park", so clearly I should expect that. But Hobie-wan is a man of diverse tastes so he would likely pick something more obscure like "Are Friends Electric?", so clearly I should expect that. But then, Hobie-wan would know that I was expecting him to choose something more obscure, so clearly I should expect "Down in the Park".

I was thinking about this later and I remembered that Gary Numan sang Cars. heh. I'm sure you meant that song. But it totally slipped my mind. Inconceivable!

I picked up the new Radiohead 2xCD remix of TKOL this week, and while it is an interesting listen, it actually did more to make me go on an all out RH back catalog kick for the first time in a while. They have been one of my top three favorite bands (along with Wilco and The Smashing Pumpkins) for 15-20 years now, and the quality and consistency across their entire discography is just stunning.

I gotta get TKOLRMX thingy still. I was gonna grab it this past week but the new Ryan Adams came out and I'm pretty obsessive with him. But yeah, I like King Of Limbs quite a bit, so looking forward to the remix album.

Collide's new album Counting to Zero. Fun fact I recently learned, Tool is apparently quite fond of Collide. Figures an awesome band like that would have good taste.
