PS1 HDMI

I was looking at this console clone for the PS1. It looks interesting because I believe it can load games from a card or usb. It also has an HDMI port. I was wondering if anyone here owns something like that or similar and what the video quality is like. Or do you guys think it's just bogus.

looks like regular clone garbage, not interested for almost $200, I can almost buy a PS2BC Playstation 3 console for that much - gives you PS1/PS2/PS3 over HDMI.

I personally would rather buy a PS3 if I wanted to play PS1 games via HDMI. But I also don't pirate games?

I don't pirate games either but I like taking care of older games and handle them the least possible. Buy you're right for normal play a PS3 would probably be a better choice. The clone is sorta interesting though.

pirating games = keeping your real copies in a rubbermaid tub so Billy your nephew don't fuck up your complete 1st run copies of Persona when your sister talks you into babysitting bc she says "Gnashvar, I couldn't go on dates when I was in high school bc mom and dad made me baby sit you, you owe me this!"

Definitely interesting, but I completely agree with the others here. May as well get a PS3 over this. And on that note, I think PS1 games through HDMI on my HDTV look fantastic.

Like everyone else said, that is pretty cool but not for that price. I have only played a couple ps1 games with my ps3, but they look pretty good (Misadventures of Tron Bonne looks great)
