Custom MegaDrive (japan) Rolling Thunder 3

Post by Strider77 »

I did a rolling thunder 3 mega drive cart, case and instructions not long ago. The game was never released in japan and I am a little OCD about having all those MD logos in a row on my shelf. So I got to work.

Thanks... photoshop is a beast, as long as you can find high quality scans the sky's the limit.

Great work! I'd love a look at the original art, so we can see how it all came together.

Any other similar projects?

Yeah... I am a cave whore and have some of their PCBs. Their SH3 boards just so happen to fit in MVS shock boxes with a little cutting so I made inserts for all the SH3 games for use in shock boxes.

That and I restored a few original mega drive titles with new labels b/c the carts (japanese) were cut to fit into US consoles.

The 1st one I did though was a Mega CD style case for the Sega CD Earthworm Jim.

Amazing work! I know who to come to next time I have a loose AES cart that needs to be made decent!
