Act Labs PowerRamp Mite PC Pad - $5.99 Vet Thrift Store
Big deal just another PC programmable gamepad right? Take a look at the PS/2 PC connector and face buttons. There is a PC keyboard encoder inside, the keys default to the PC Keyboard. This means ALL Keyboard controlled games in DOS, LINUX and WINDOWS works without any drivers! With a simple USB PS/2 adaptor MAC Keyboard games also work. There is a pass thru for the regular PS/2 Keyboard. I was pumped to get this only to be disapointed that it does not work.

OH CRAP and DOUBLE CRAP!
A dead pad that has great compatible potential. Taking it apart reveals nothing, I'll have to break out an OHM meter and see if the connector wire is broke somewhere. The passthru connector does work fine with a spare keyboard, one could actually daisy chain multiple PowerRamp Mite Game pads. In honesty I really don't need this since I already modded a couple of Gamepads and Arcade stick to work off PS/2 connected keyboard encoders.

The PoweRamp Mite is worth fixing though, all the programmable features and 100 percent PC keyboard compatibility. I didn't even know a keyboard ready controller existed, the pad buttons already default to Mame.

I found the important pages of the manual!

Love how Veteran Thrift Stores use Red China markers or pricing items. Very easy to clean off.

That was a bite, you missed the 100% compatibility reason. Hey I just might be able to fix it! :D

Check my previous reply link for the features.

I meant to post these a while ago, but thought I might as well do it now:

Psychonauts: $7
NES + 2 controllers and a few games with a bad 72pin connector: free.

That's because it is wrecking your cart slot. Have fun getting anything to work without it if you use it too much. Your pins will need rebending even worse then they already do.
THIS. I tried my Game Genie just one time and almost ruined my toaster NES. After the NES died, inserting a couple of different game carts a few times without the Genie got it to work again. Lucky the NES pins retained the old "memory" before the Genie did a permanent damaging bend.
That's why you get one of these:

I've sold every "toaster" NES I've ever owned because there's no hassle with this one. Out of curiosity, why is it called a "toaster" anyway? It's more like a VCR to me...

Because of the way it pops down and up. Like a toaster.

Funny you say it looks like a VCR, it was part of Nintendo's plan to make it look like a piece of AV equipment and not like a video game console.

I'm guessing because of the way the cart goes in, pushing down on it like you would toast bread.
