I've exchanged some e-mails with the developer. He's a pretty nice guy. Apparently these will be professionally pressed CDs, and that the soundtrack will be included. I'm not exactly sure if he meant on the same CD, but he almost makes it sound like that...
"The soundtrack composed by Andre Neumann will be included on the game CD, so you can play it on your CD player." I also asked about a possible limited edition, but he isn't much of a fan apparently, which is understandable. Here's the best news of all...
I will surely continuing making Neogeo games with NG:DEV.TEAM and when DUX does well the chances are very high I will continuing making DC games too.
Here's some new photos that have been posted on his blog...

Looks interesting, and much different than Last Hope. It's sooo bright!

Can you ask the developer if he has ever pondered on doing it in 16:9 format. I would love that, especially in hi res. Drool.

The developer wants to release it at 20 Euro, which is around 30 dollars. Even if it is doujin, I am gonna still support it.

I will buy this if I dont need a boot disk, its not on a CD-R, region free, and if they can send it to the United States. If a Dreamcast can play this game on those conditions ill buy it, when does it come out?

I preordered it already and shipping to the US is 7 Euro. So the total was around 40 dollars for the whole thing. Hope it is more fun than Last Hope. BTW, the developer wants to ship it by July, though it is just a tentative date.

I'm going to wait a little longer to see if play-asia will stock it, would rather buy from them.

You don't need a boot disk, it IS on a CD-R, it is region-free and they can send it to the U.S.

So all your conditions are met, except for it being on a CD. Why don't you want it on a CD?

There is also an alpha video out now, sorry I'm too lazy to put a link.

Edit: alright I felt guilty for not putting a link.
