Yeah, Piranha 3D was the shit, I just hope that Piranha 3DD ( ) is as good as 3D.
The Last Horseman wrote:I'm personally into more of slasher. I'll watch the paranormal thriller stuff, but it kinda bores me. Slashers are funy at times, and I can watch them with no problem as long as they avoid any sexual stuff with the gore. IE, Phirrana 3D I was okay with, but my friend suggested me a movie that I watched (Can't remember the name...) Where the 'bad guy' rapes a girl with a knife. I don't like that shit.
What the...? It can't be I Spit On Your Grave, House On The Edge Of The Park, Night Train Murders, The Last House On The Left or Irreversible since I can't remember knife rape on those :| . And by the way, if someone recommends you an obscure horror film... do some research first.

Yep, I've learned my lesson with that and obscure websites. Sadly, I saw 3 guys 1 hammer, and that was some fucked up shit. I regret it, but I can't help it now.
Systems: Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, N64, Gamecube, Xbox 360

WTB: Boxes for a silver Gamecube System(and a hyperport cover), and a box for an Ice Blue N64 console. Will pay 7.50 for each and shipping.

That's something I'm never going to watch, specially considering how much I loathe the local press, it's sensationalist to the point of showing corpses on the cover, it's really messed up and anyone can see or buy those newspapers, but a group of 16 year olds trying to watch Hostel, Saw, Piranha 3D, the Final Destination or something like Quills, Shortbus or The Double Life Of Veronique is a no-go (Those films are rated here C, which is like an R rating but you can't even pass with an adult, you have to show your ID, it's fucking retarded).

And yes, doing research on anything helps a lot, I watched A Serbian Film without knowing what happens in the movie and by the end I swear I had to take a shower just to feel clean (However, it's well shot, acted and directed).

That's what the Cracked article talks about  But, no. I haven't seen Never Sleep Again. I heard about it not too long ago, but just haven't really looked into it yet. There's also I Am Nancy. It looks like I'm going to have to order a couple things :D

I just saw it, it's VERY gay, but I'm actually OK with that, I mean... how many gay horror films exist?

I don't know how many of these everyone's seen, but here's a few I love and highly suggest that haven't been mentioned yet.

PS thanks for the heads up on the Halloween II unrated cut Noise! I will be buying that this weekend!

Evil Dead see it now if you haven't, its a true classic of horror awesomeness!

Evil Dead 2, see comment above!

The Strangers was great. It reminded me a lot of some of my favorite classic horror films.

1408 is was actually surprisingly awesome. I love creepy ghost movies and and old hotels so this was right up my alley.
Image

30 Days Of Night is currently my favorite vampire movie, it was just bloody brutal. I loved the comics and love the first movie as well.

Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer is the most disturbing fucking movie I've ever seen by far.
Image

Faces Of Death I think this movie caused permanent mental damage to every kid that grew up in the 80s and 90s that watched this.
Image

The Gate was a pretty great 80s cheesetastic horror movie too.

Trick Or Treat is the definition of pure 80s horror.

Here's a pretty cool site for all you 80s horror buffs.

^ I didn't like The Strangers that much, it starts well but then the characters lose 100 IQ points and they become so stupid it's impossible to crave for them.

As for Faces Of Death, I remember watching it expecting something extremely disturbing and instead I found myself laughing at many scenes, like the bear attack thing. However, it still haves some pretty shocking stuff, like the beginning, that's when I noticed I couldn't become a doctor  . Also, I'm not sure if you saw it on Blu-Ray but if you did... why would you get that in HD?  .

I saw Faces of Death when I was a little kid and had no idea what it was, and never had any desire to watch it again. Although, I doubt it's anywhere near as bad as I remember.
